The Circle of Serbian Sisters of Lorain, Ohio celebrated Sveta Petka Slava today. The beautiful fall morning began with Divine Liturgy. The sisters then joined together as Father Nektarije blessed the kolach for in honor of the saint who blesses us with many years to come, and the wheat in memory of our ancestors. Kelli D’Agnese was honored as Kuma of the celebration with her daughter Haili. Eva Zunich accepted the corner of the bread as next years Kuma. The circle of sisters at St. George have been an active organization since 1927. Thank you to all who were with us and shared with us today.
