Singelos Nektarije (Tesanovic), Parish Priest of St. George Church

Ratko Tesanovic was born in 1994 in Sremska Mitrovica,
Serbia, to his father Predrag and mother Ranka (nee Zabic). His elementary education and the Music School was completed in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia.

He attended the Seminary High School of St. Arsenios of Srem in Sremski Karlovci from 2009 to 2014, where he was awarded the honor of the Pure Heart as well as the honor of the best student in the generation.

After attending the St. Sava School of Theology, Libertyville, IL from 2014-2018, where he graduated with a Licentiate in Theology with the academic distinction maxima cum laude. He was tonsured a monk at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox monastery in Libertyville on April 6, 2017 by the hand of His Grace Longin, Bishop of New Gracanica and Midwestern America, receiving the name РNektarije after St. Nektarios of Aegina.

Monk Nektarije was ordained a deacon on April 9, 2017 at New Gracanica Monastery near Chicago by the hand of Bishop Longin. On July 15, 2017 at the New Gracanica Monastery His Holliness Patriarch Irinej ordained him a hieromonk.

His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church, appoints Fr. Nektarije a parish priest of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain, OH on June 18, 2018. In Lorain, he attended Lorain Community College from 2019-2020, where he received the recognition from the Dean of the College.

His Grace Bishop Irinej appointed Fr. Nektarije the temporary administrator of the Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox Monastery in Shadeland, PA on July 28, 2021.

Fr. Nektarije was elevated to the rank of Singelos by His Grace Bishop Irinej on Bright Tuesday, on April 26, 2022 at the Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain, OH.

In 2022 he enrolled the University of St. Katherine, the Master of Divinity Program (expected graduation in 2023).
