St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Lorain, Ohio is celebrating its 100^th anniversary on October 12, 2024.

Since 1924, the parish has served the community of Lorain and its vicinity, both as a spiritual and cultural gathering place for the Serbian diaspora, and as a bulwark of outreach to Northern Ohio. Our parish will celebrate this distinction and pay homage to the resilience of its generations of parishioners through peaceful and trying times, and our century-long achievement of bringing people to faith and maintaining strong ties with the Serbian people and nation. The building itself is a cornerstone in the City of Lorain, and welcomes cradle, convert, and all other worshippers and visitors who come to experience traditional Serbian Christian worship and participate in the Eastern Orthodox Divine Liturgy.

In commemoration of this event, we are producing a commemorative book- Spomenica, that captures the history of our faith and parish.
